Toisinto (eng. Variant) is the artistic component of my master's thesis, where I study the changes in a landscape within the black-and-white analog image construction process through gelatin silver printing.
The photographs on display in the exhibition are individual representations of the landscapes they contain. The purpose of the works is not to neutrally document views shaped by nature, but rather to seek out some kind of different poetic truth through the image making process.
The exhibition artworks include:
Yearning for lightness, 2026, 2023
Hum the night away, 2026, 2025
Last light, 2026, 2023
