Toisaalla reflects on the themes of presence and detachment from reality in relation to one's environment. The essence of landscapes in the exhibition visualise a gradual return to being present through a three-part sequence: I DISCONNECT, II CHAOS, III CLARITY.
All works in the exhibition have been photographed on film during summer 2024 in Northern Norway and further processed into their current form using various analog and digital methods. The works combine traditional black and white landscape aesthetics inspired by the traditions of photography and the artist's desire to experiment with ways of exhibiting photographs.
